Services
Tree Removal, Trimming, Brush, Stumps, and Storm Cleanup
Five services, all of them tree work, across Dublin, Columbus, and central Ohio. Every job includes hauling the material off and cleaning up the work area, and our phone is answered 24 hours.
Tree Removal
Some trees have to come down. Dead, split, leaning the wrong way, or simply standing somewhere it can no longer stand. We take whole trees down, from open back yards where a tree can be dropped in one piece to tight quarters where there is no clean drop zone at all.
When there is no room to fell a tree whole, we climb it and bring it down in pieces. Sections are rigged, roped, and lowered in a controlled way so the work stays clear of the house, the fence, the shed, and the power lines. When the tree is on the ground, the wood and brush go with us and the work area gets raked out.
What the job includes
- A look at the tree, the lean, the deadwood, and the drop zone before any cutting starts
- Felling in one piece where the yard gives us room to do it
- Climbing, rigging, and roping sections down in tight quarters
- Work planned around houses, fences, sheds, driveways, and power lines
- Wood and brush hauled off site, with the work area cleaned up
Tree Trimming
Trimming is what keeps a tree from getting away from you. We thin and reduce canopies that have grown heavy or one-sided, cut limbs back off roofs, gutters, siding, and power lines, and take out dead or hanging limbs before they come down on their own.
Low branches over a driveway, a walk, or a back yard can be raised so you can get under them again. We make the cuts the tree can live with, then clear the brush before we leave.
What the job includes
- Thinning and reducing canopies that have grown heavy or overgrown
- Clearing limbs off roofs, gutters, siding, and power lines
- Removing dead, broken, or hanging limbs
- Raising low branches over drives, walks, and yards
- Brush cleared and hauled away when the trimming is done
Brush Removal
Brush creeps. A fence line grows in, a tree line pushes further into the yard, and limbs come down over a couple of seasons until the back edge of the property is unusable. We clear it out — overgrown brush, saplings along fence lines and tree lines, and the fallen limbs that have collected underneath.
If you already have a brush pile sitting in the yard or at the curb, we can haul that away on its own. Tell us where the property line is and how far back you want it opened up.
What the job includes
- Clearing overgrown brush, fence lines, and tree lines
- Picking up fallen and broken limbs across the yard
- Opening back property edges that have grown in
- Hauling away existing brush piles as a job on their own
- Cleanup of the cleared area before we leave
Stump Removal
Once the tree is gone the stump is still in the way of mowing, planting, and anything else you want to do with that corner of the yard. We grind stumps down below grade with a walk-behind grinder that fits through a gate, so the back yard is reachable without taking a fence apart.
After grinding we clean up the grindings and backfill the hole so the area can be seeded or mulched. Stump removal can be part of a tree removal or booked on its own, including stumps left behind by someone else.
What the job includes
- Grinding the stump down below the surrounding grade
- Access to back yards and tight spots with a walk-behind grinder
- Cleanup of grindings and debris from the work area
- Backfilling the ground so the spot can be seeded or mulched
- Booked with a removal or on its own, including old stumps
Storm Cleanup
Storm damage does not arrive on a schedule. A limb ends up on the roof, a trunk splits and the top is hung up in what is left of the tree, or a tree comes down across the driveway and nothing can move until it is cut out of the way.
We handle that work: trees and limbs already on the ground, hung-up and leaning trees that are still loaded and need to be taken down in a controlled way, limbs off roofs and vehicles, and drives and walks cleared. Our hours are 24 hours, so call when it happens rather than waiting for business hours.
What the job includes
- Fallen trees and heavy limbs cut up and cleared
- Hung-up, leaning, and split trees taken down in a controlled way
- Limbs lifted off roofs, fences, sheds, and vehicles
- Blocked driveways, walks, and gates opened back up
- Debris hauled off site, with our phone answered around the clock
Not sure which of those it is?
Describe the tree and we will tell you what the job actually is. Removal, trimming, or just clearing what is already on the ground.
